AC Graft Rope
What is an AC Graft Rope?
AC Graft Rope is specifically for a shoulder separation. A tearing of the ligaments of the collar bone as it connects to the tip of the shoulder is called a separation. This usually results from a fall directly on the tip. This allows the collar bone to stick up tenting the overlying skin. Most separations can be treated by wearing a sling and physical therapy. A complete separation frequently requires surgical repair. This is an arthroscopic procedure to stabilize the shoulder after tearing the ligaments of the clavicle using a tendon. AC Graft Rope is specifically for a shoulder separation.
